Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Onyx-Chip Terrazzo Worker who will play a crucial role in crafting beautiful terrazzo surfaces. This role requires blending creativity with technical skill, focusing on delivering exceptional quality across various projects.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and leveling surfaces for terrazzo application
• Accurately mixing and applying terrazzo mixtures
• Implementing design specifications into final products
• Operating and managing machinery for finishing surfaces
• Conducting quality checks throughout the installation process
• Keeping work areas clean and safe
• Documenting project progress and reporting to supervisors
• Assisting in the training of apprentices and new workers

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in terrazzo or related fields is desirable

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in terrazzo or similar decorative concrete applications

Technical Skills

• Terrazzo installation
• Mixing techniques

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in custom terrazzo designs: Ability to create bespoke designs to meet individual client needs.
• Supervisory experience: Previous experience in leading a small team on construction sites.
