Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Public Health Officer to join our Swansea team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing public health strategies, conducting health assessments, and promoting health education initiatives. Responsibilities

• Lead public health outreach and education efforts.
• Collect and analyse health data to inform programs.
• Work with schools and businesses to improve community health.
• Serve as a resource for public health information.
• Advocate for health promotion and disease prevention policies.
• Facilitate community health workshops and events.
• Develop strategic partnerships to enhance health initiatives.
• Represent the health authority at community meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Public Health, Nursing, or Health Administration
• Master's degree in Public Health or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years relevant experience in a public health role

• Public health policy analysis
