Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Building Carpenter Helper to support our team of skilled carpenters in various construction and renovation projects. The successful candidate will assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, whilst maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Support carpentry team with measuring and cutting materials accurately.
• Assist in cleaning and organising tools and equipment.
• Utilise hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• Adhere to safety standards and report any safety concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Help with site preparations for various projects.
• Take initiative in learning new carpentry techniques and practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• No specific experience required, but prior experience in construction or carpentry is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Basic carpentry skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior carpentry or construction experience: Experience in similar roles will be beneficial.
