Job Description

As a Workgroup Leader, you'll supervise a dedicated team, ensuring they meet performance objectives while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your leadership will inspire the team to deliver quality outcomes on our construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of team operations, ensuring goals and deadlines are achieved.
  • Set team objectives and KPIs, monitoring progress and providing feedback.
  • Support team members in achieving individual goals through coaching and training.
  • Implement effective work processes and techniques to enhance productivity.
  • Investigate and resolve team issues and escalations promptly.
  • Maintain clear and frequent communication with upper management regarding team performance.
  • Encourage a culture of teamwork, respect, and collaboration within the group.
  • Evaluate team performance regularly, initiating development plans for improvement.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations to keep the team competitive.

Requirements

Education
  • HNC or HND in Construction or Building Studies
  • Chartered status is preferred but not essential
Experience
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in construction settings
