Job Description

As an Environmental Consultant, you will work with diverse clients to develop and implement effective environmental strategies. This role requires a robust understanding of environmental laws, regulations, and best practices, alongside exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments and studies.
• Draft and submit necessary permits and documentation.
• Provide expert advice on waste management and pollution control.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Analyze data to support compliance reporting and project evaluations.
• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored environmental strategies.
• Participate in business development activities to expand client base.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related discipline
• Relevant postgraduate qualification is desirable

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or related field

Technical Skills

• Ecological Impact Analysis
• GIS Software

Certifications

• Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv)
• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of Climate Change Adaptation Strategies: Understanding of strategies for adapting to and mitigating climate change effects.
