The Waterworks Employee is responsible for operating and maintaining waterworks systems, ensuring the delivery of clean and safe water to customers. This role requires expertise in water treatment, distribution, and quality control.
Responsibilities
Monitor and report on the performance of treatment processes.
Assist in the development of maintenance schedules.
Implement new technologies to improve water treatment efficiency.
Support training for new staff on operational procedures.
Engage with the community regarding water usage practices.
Update system software and databases as necessary.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Water Industry Training Certificate (WITC) or equivalent
Experience
Previous experience in water treatment or distribution is preferred.
