Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Digester Cook to join our team in Manchester. The successful candidate will play a critical role in preparing and cooking organic material for biogas production, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the intake and preparation of organic waste for cooking in the digester.
• Conduct routine equipment checks to ensure all systems operate smoothly.
• Collaborate with the digester team to troubleshoot issues and implement performance improvements.
• Maintain logs of cooking conditions and results to assist with process optimization.
• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to biogas production.

Requirements

Education

• Secondary school education or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a similar role preferred, but not essential.

Languages
