Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Roustabout Hand to join our team. The Roustabout Hand will be responsible for performing a variety of manual labour tasks on an oil rig or drilling platform, ensuring the smooth operation of drilling operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in rigging operations and maintain equipment.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of tools and machinery.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety on the drilling platform.
• Support loading and unloading operations as needed.
• Help transport materials and equipment to and from offshore.
• Follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in emergency drills and safety meetings.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in manual labour roles is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of safety protocols
• Ability to operate basic powered tools

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Flexibility

Certifications

• Relevant offshore safety training
• Other relevant certifications are advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Mechanical skills: Ability to perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Previous offshore experience: Experience working in an offshore environment is beneficial.
