Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex GIS databases.
• Ensure compliance with GIS data standards and regulations.
• Work with clients to support GIS-driven decision-making processes.
• Implement data modelling techniques for spatial data management.
• Research and apply new GIS technologies and practices.
• Provide mentorship to junior GIS staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related field
• Master’s in GIS or related field is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in GIS database management

Technical Skills

• PostGIS
• Remote Sensing

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Organisational skills

Certifications

• Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in spatial analytics or machine learning: Knowledge of applying statistical methods to geospatial data.
• Experience with cloud-based GIS platforms: Hands-on experience with platforms such as ArcGIS Online or Google Maps Platform.
