Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to oversee and deliver diverse construction projects in Rochdale. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills to drive project success from planning through completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Supervise site activities, ensuring quality control standards are met.
• Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits.
• Evaluate and select subcontractors and suppliers based on project needs.
• Implement project management methodologies and ensure best practices are followed.
• Track project progress and adapt plans as needed to stay within scope.
• Manage risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Drive innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a project management role within construction
