Interior Space Designer

Job Description

As an Interior Space Designer with Design Solutions Ltd., you will be responsible for creating functional and beautiful spaces tailored to client specifications. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to bring visions to life through innovative design principles.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative interior design concepts that reflect client brand and culture.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design proposals and contracts.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for material selection and procurement.
• Lead client meetings and presentations to gather feedback and input throughout the design process.
• Ensure all design work adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
• Conduct post-occupancy evaluations to ensure client satisfaction.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback on their projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Certification from a recognized design institution is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial interior design

Technical Skills

• Revit
• 2D and 3D Visualisation

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• NCIDQ Certification
• Certified Kitchen and Bath Designer (CKBD)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Virtual Reality Design Tools: Familiarity with VR tools for immersive design presentations.
• Knowledge of Local Building Regulations: Understanding of local building codes and regulations for compliance.
