Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Benefits Administrator to join our HR team in York. This role involves administering employee benefit programs and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting employees in navigating their benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day administration of all benefits programs.
  • Ensure the accuracy of benefits data in HR systems.
  • Answer employee questions about benefits claims and eligibility.
  • Conduct audits of benefit plans to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist HR Manager in developing communication materials about benefits.
  • Evaluate and negotiate with benefits providers to ensure best options are available.
  • Prepare annual reports on benefits usage and trends.
  • Conduct research on best practices in employee benefits.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and changes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Master's degree or relevant HR qualifications preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration or HR
