Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Aberdeen. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of all manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing mechanical issues and executing timely repairs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily maintenance of production equipment.
• Resolve mechanical problems and perform repairs as needed.
• Document maintenance tasks performed and outcomes.
• Engage with the production team to schedule maintenance work.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Facilitate communication between maintenance and management.
• Contribute to the development of maintenance training materials.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and equipment advancements.
• Assist in the procurement of maintenance supplies.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Engineering or similar technical field preferred
• Certifications in relevant maintenance techniques are beneficial

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance
