Job Description

As a Wood Preserving Plant Laborer, you will engage in the essential processes that ensure wood products are treated and preserved effectively. Your role will encompass operating equipment, maintaining wood inventory, and upholding safety standards in a busy manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the proper handling and storage of wood products.
  • Monitor the treatment processes to ensure effective preservation of wood.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to facilitate workflow.
  • Support the continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
  • Complete daily reports on production and safety standards.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
  • Previous experience in wood preservation or related industry is beneficial.
Technical Skills
  • Forklift operation (if applicable)
  • Basic math skills

Languages
  • English: Fluent
