Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Air-Hole Driller to join our team. This role involves drilling air holes in various locations to facilitate proper ventilation in underground mining operations. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of drilling techniques and safety protocols within the industry.

Responsibilities

• Implement drilling plans as outlined by supervisors.
• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal drilling locations.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of drilling equipment.
• Support teams in emergency response situations.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

Education

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mining Operations
• Additional drilling certifications preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in air-hole drilling with demonstrated efficiency.

• Drilling Program Implementation

• Team Leadership

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience Operating Drilling Machinery in Challenging Environments: Preference for candidates who have worked in adverse conditions.
