Job Description

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing sleep studies, monitoring patients' brain activities, and assisting with the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. This role involves working closely with healthcare professionals, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Ideal candidates should have strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct overnight polysomnograms and multiple sleep latency tests (MSLT).
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Document and track patient progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols.
  • Provide education to patients regarding sleep hygiene and study expectations.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Polysomnography or related field
  • Certification as a Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT or RPSGT)
Experience
  • Experience performing sleep studies preferred.
