Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hot Dip Plating Supervisor to manage our plating operations. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of hot dip plating processes and will ensure the department maintains safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations within the hot dip plating department.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
  • Regulate quality control measures to ensure product specifications are met consistently.
  • Provide support and guidance to plating technicians, fostering a productive team environment.
  • Develop production schedules and ensure they align with customer requirements.
  • Conduct inspections on equipment and ensure preventative maintenance is performed.
  • Facilitate training for staff on new techniques or safety procedures.
  • Engage with management to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Accurately document and report on production and quality metrics weekly.
  • Conduct team meetings to communicate goals and address concerns.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant vocational training or certification in plating processes
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hot dip plating
