Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Pilot where you will be responsible for flying air ambulances to transport patients in urgent medical situations. Your role will involve performing pre-flight checks, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, and collaborating with medical personnel to facilitate safe patient transfers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring safe and efficient operation of the air ambulance helicopter.
  • Performing thorough pre-flight and post-flight checks.
  • Collaborating with medical teams to deliver critical care while in transit.
  • Maintaining compliance with all aviation regulations and guidelines.
  • Actively engaging in safety training and emergency preparedness exercises.
  • Updating flight logs and maintaining meticulous records.
  • Participating in team meetings to discuss operational improvements.
  • Adapting to changing circumstances in emergency situations.
  • Assessing and managing flight risks effectively.
  • Being proactive in ensuring the highest standards of safety and service.

Requirements

Education
  • Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with helicopter rating
  • Additional medical training is an asset
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a helicopter pilot, with 2 years in Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
