Job Description

We're on the lookout for an Automotive Engineer to join our team in Redcar. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing automotive systems and components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in vehicle dynamics and a strong understanding of automotive engineering principles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engineering processes for vehicle production.
  • Identify and manage potential risks throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular audits of engineering processes and outcomes.
  • Engage in customer feedback to improve vehicle design and features.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure timelines are met.
  • Assist in the development of marketing strategies for new models.
  • Create and maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Establish relationships with other engineering firms and organizations.
  • Participate in engineering conferences and industry events.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in the automotive industry
