Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Birmingham office. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing various infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards while adhering to deadlines and budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive engineering plans and specifications.
  • Lead technical discussions with clients and contractors.
  • Evaluate the environmental impact of projects and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in the procurement of materials and liaise with suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Prepare feasibility studies and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with local authorities regarding project approvals.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineering staff.
  • Implement cost-effective engineering solutions.
  • Participate in quality assurance and control processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Experience
  • 3+ years in civil engineering roles.
