We are seeking an IT Support Technician to enhance our IT support team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will provide essential technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance of hardware and software systems. Responsibilities

  • Manage helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Train staff on software applications and hardware usage.
  • Monitor system performance and address any issues proactively.
  • Assist in the implementation of new IT solutions and upgrades.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for equipment and service needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all IT operations.
  • Conduct user access audits and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in IT support.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT
  • Additional certifications in IT support are advantageous

  • 3+ years in technical support environments
