Job Description

We are seeking a talented AI Engineer to join our fast-paced team in Durham. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in AI and Machine Learning, and will play a key role in developing and optimising innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI projects from concept through deployment.
• Train and mentor junior engineers in AI practices.
• Collaborate with product managers to align solutions with business objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend third-party AI tools and platforms.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• R Programming
• AWS or Azure

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Google AI Engineer Certification
• Data Science Certification from Coursera

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with advanced AI frameworks: Hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch or Keras.
• Contributions to Open Source projects: Involvement in AI or machine learning open-source projects is a plus.
