Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive records of medication dispensed and patient interactions.
  • Develop patient care plans in coordination with healthcare team members.
  • Monitor medication therapy for potential interactions and contraindications.
  • Provide training and support to pharmacy interns and students.
  • Ensure the pharmacy meets all health and safety regulations.
  • Engage in community outreach programs to promote health awareness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and prescribers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Certification in Pharmaceutical Care is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years in a community pharmacy setting
