We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Laboratory Technician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing eyeglasses and lenses, ensuring high standards of quality and precision in ophthalmic devices.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription orders and provide high-quality optical products.
• Configure and adjust frames and lenses for optimal fit.
• Maintain inventory of optical materials and supplies.
• Support the laboratory manager in operational tasks and projects.
• Conduct periodic checks on equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss improvements and innovations.
• Educate patients and staff about lenses care and maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• Advanced diploma in Ophthalmic Technology or related field
• Higher education in Optical Sciences is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in an ophthalmic lab setting
