Job Description

We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist to bolster our commitment to data quality and compliance. In this role, you'll be responsible for establishing data governance frameworks, ensuring proper data management practices, and enhancing data analytics capabilities within our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of data governance frameworks and standards.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of current data processes and recommend improvements.
  • Engage with cross-departmental teams to ensure effective data usage.
  • Run training sessions to enhance data governance awareness.
  • Provide strategic input regarding data management issues.
  • Maintain documentation of data governance practices and policies.
  • Support compliance audits and assessments.
  • Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes impacting data governance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability around data governance.
  • Report on governance metrics to stakeholders regularly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications in data governance
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data governance roles
