Job Description

The Furnace Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining various industrial furnaces, kilns, and ovens. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the charging and discharging of materials in furnaces.
• Calibrate and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks on produced materials.
• Assist in inventory management of raw materials and products.
• Enforce health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree or certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in furnace or kiln operation.

Technical Skills

• Industrial Control Systems

• Effective communication

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specific unit types: Familiarity with experience in chemical processing or power generation.
