Environmental Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Technician to assist with site assessments and environmental monitoring in Haverhill. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental science and possess excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential environmental hazards and recommend mitigation measures.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations for client meetings.
• Utilise GIS software for data mapping and analysis.
• Collect samples of air, soil, and water for testing.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and technological advancements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related discipline
• Further qualifications in environmental law or policy preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in similar roles or environmental projects

• Sampling Techniques
• Report Writing

Certifications

• Certified Environmental Professional (CEP)
• Asbestos Awareness Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
