Job Description

We are seeking a talented Aerospace Engineer to join our dynamic team in Wolverhampton. You will be responsible for developing and implementing engineering solutions, conducting performance assessments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on various aerospace projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis projects from conception through to production.
• Optimize designs to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Communicate technical information effectively to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and incorporate best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in project planning and resource allocation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• PhD in Aerospace Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering projects

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Systems Engineering

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Project Management

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with UAV Design: Hands-on experience in the design and development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles.
• Knowledge of Avionics Systems: Familiarity with the integration of avionics systems in aircraft.
