Job Description

As an Urban Environmental Planner, you will play a crucial role in developing sustainable urban projects in Bath. You will work alongside an innovative team, ensuring that all developments meet environmental regulations while fostering community growth. Your expertise will guide the integration of green technologies and practices into urban planning processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of sustainable urban development projects.
  • Engage with community members to solicit feedback and foster participation.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers and architects.
  • Assess funding opportunities and prepare grant applications.
  • Analyse data related to urban growth trends and environmental impacts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies, Environmental Planning, or related discipline
  • Master’s degree is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in urban planning roles with project leadership experience
