Job Description

As an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, performing medical procedures, and collaborating with physicians to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough patient assessments and record findings.
  • Execute medical procedures competently under supervision.
  • Assist in continuing education and training within the department.
  • Support the development of emergency protocols and procedures.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and trainees.
  • Participate in research projects related to emergency medicine.
  • Contribute to the department's quality assurance and safety programs.
  • Evaluate and improve patient care processes continuously.
  • Promote a culture of patient-centered care within the emergency department.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or similar
  • Additional certifications in emergency medicine are desirable
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in emergency medical services
