Retail Security Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a vigilant Retail Security Officer to oversee the safety and security of our retail establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the store premises, deterring theft, and ensuring a safe shopping environment for our customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visual deterrent to potential shoplifters.
• Conduct routine surveillance and monitoring using CCTV and other security systems.
• Ensure the enforcement of store policies related to safety and security.
• Participate in training sessions for safety and security procedures.
• Assist in emergency evacuations and drill exercises.
• Maintain an understanding of emergency response procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory.

Technical Skills

• CCTV Monitoring
• First Aid Certification

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills

• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Valid SIA License
• First Aid and CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Background in Law Enforcement.: Prior experience in a law enforcement role is an advantage.
