Cytogenetic Technologist

Job Description

The Outbound Operator will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching outbound shipments for our company. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics operations and customer service, possess strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will oversee the logistics process to ensure timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform cytogenetic analyses including karyotyping and FISH techniques.
• Implement quality control measures to maintain the integrity of laboratory results.
• Conduct troubleshooting and resolve technical problems in the lab.
• Assist in the training of laboratory technicians and interns.
• Keep abreast of advancements in cytogenetics to improve laboratory protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field
• Master's degree in Genetics or Biochemistry is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of specific cytogenetic laboratory experience is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS): Familiarity with NGS technologies and applications.
