Our Cardiff pharmacy is on the lookout for a Clinical Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical pharmacy, with the ability to provide expert medication management and optimise patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead medication therapy management clinics.
• Assess the appropriateness of prescribed drug therapies.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Advise on drug interactions and contraindications.
• Stay updated with current pharmacy practices and regulations.
• Support pharmacy operations and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Pharmacy is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting

Technical Skills

• Patient assessment

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• GPhC Registration

Languages

• Welsh: Basic

Advantageous

• Knowledge of pharmacogenomics: Understanding of genetic factors in drug therapy.
