Job Description

We are seeking a Distribution Manager to manage our logistics operations in Bangor. This role involves coordinating shipments, supervising staff, and improving distribution efficiency while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the distribution team to achieve operational goals and maintain high service levels.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.
• Manage relationships with transport providers and negotiate contracts.
• Utilise logistics software to track shipments and manage fleet operations.
• Conduct regular audits of the distribution process to identify areas for improvement.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in distribution or supply chain management
