Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Light Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently delivering orders and ensuring customer satisfaction through reliable service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders efficiently while minimizing delays.
• Monitor and report any vehicle maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Engage with clients and provide updates on delivery status.
• Assist in training new drivers when necessary.
• Participate in team safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of driving experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Valid UK driver's license
• Basic mechanical knowledge

Soft Skills

• Reliability
• Adaptability

Certifications

• HGV license (optional)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working in a warehouse: Background in warehousing or distribution is beneficial.
