Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Accountant to join our team in Southampton. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Ideal candidates will have solid experience in accounting and exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor financial reporting systems to ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist in preparing quarterly and yearly tax returns.
• Coordinate with external vendors and clients regarding financial matters.
• Support strategic financial planning and annual budgets.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and issues.
• Provide timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss financial strategies and objectives.
• Utilize accounting software and tools effectively to improve efficiency.
• Engage with clients to provide tailored financial advice.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles

Certifications

• CIMA certification is a plus

Languages
