Package Supervisor

Job Description

As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for creating and repairing dies used in wire drawing machinery. This role requires precision, a keen eye for detail, and collaboration with our manufacturing team to ensure efficient production.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of packagers and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Ensure high standards of packaging quality and adherence to industry regulations.
• Conduct regular training sessions for new and existing team members.
• Maintain accurate records of packaging activities and inventory levels.
• Work closely with other departments to resolve any packaging-related issues.
• Develop strategies to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Participate in audits and quality inspections as required.
• Collaborate with management to set departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or shipping environment

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite
• Warehouse Management Software

Soft Skills

• Organisational Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift Certification: Valid certification for operating forklifts safely.
• Quality Control Experience: Experience in overseeing product quality in a logistics environment.
