Laboratory Technician

Job Description

We are in search of a Laboratory Technician to join our bustling Liverpool lab. The successful candidate will carry out various laboratory tests and analyses to support our research objectives, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out laboratory experiments in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Analyse and report results accurately, contributing to research documentation.
• Assist in managing supplies and ordering necessary materials.
• Support the laboratory team in achieving research milestones.
• Participate in discussions about improving lab processes and practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
• Train and mentor junior lab staff as needed.

Requirements

Education

• HND or equivalent in Laboratory Sciences

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a laboratory environment

Technical Skills

• Analytical Chemistry
• Equipment Maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Time Management

Certifications

• NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a Pharmaceutical Lab: Background in laboratory work specific to the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
• Understanding of Regulatory Requirements: Knowledge of regulatory requirements in laboratory operations.
