Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Public Health Analyst to join our team in Manchester. In this role, you will perform comprehensive data analysis and research to support public health policies and programmes. This position requires strong analytical skills to interpret health data, improve community wellbeing, and inform decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse health indicators to drive community health improvement strategies.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to gather necessary data.
  • Create and maintain databases of health information.
  • Support training sessions for staff on data collection and analysis.
  • Collaborate with local authorities to implement health interventions.
  • Compile statistical reports summarising health findings.
  • Facilitate workshops to promote health education in the community.
  • Contribute to the design of surveys and health assessments.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Epidemiology or a related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is an advantage
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in public health
