Diagnostic Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technician to join our team in Peterborough. In this role, you will administer diagnostic tests and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide patients with the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of diagnostic tests and troubleshoot equipment as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist in research and development of new diagnostic techniques.
• Manage inventory of diagnostic supplies and equipment.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Support patients during their diagnostic procedures and provide feedback to medical staff.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Radiography or Diagnostic Imaging
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in diagnostics

Technical Skills

• Experience with MRI and CT machines
• Proficient in health informatics

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving abilities
• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• Registered Radiographer certification
• First Aid and CPR certified

Languages

• English: Fluent
