Job Description

As a Wind Energy Development Manager, you will spearhead our wind energy projects, ensuring their successful execution from conception through to completion. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with environmental standards and regulations while driving sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of wind energy projects.
  • Assess site viability and conduct wind resource assessments.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Liaise with government bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Facilitate community outreach and engagement initiatives.
  • Supervise project teams and coordinate with contractors.
  • Oversee the development of educational materials related to renewable energy.
  • Initiate and manage partnerships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a similar field
  • Advanced degree in Renewable Energy is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 4 years in energy project management, ideally in wind energy
