Job Description

We seek a passionate High School Mathematics Teacher dedicated to delivering a comprehensive maths education. The successful candidate will create engaging lesson plans, provide effective instruction, and assess student performance to ensure their academic growth.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality mathematics education to secondary school students.
• Regularly assess student understanding and adjust lessons as needed.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
• Develop partnerships with parents to support student learning at home.
• Create a structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Utilize innovative teaching strategies to engage students.
• Participate in school events and represent the mathematics department.
• Maintain continuous improvement in personal teaching practice.
• Develop educational materials that enhance student learning experiences.
• Respond to student inquiries and provide additional support outside of class.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Post-graduate degree in Education (PGCE or similar) is preferred

Experience

• Prior experience teaching high school mathematics curriculum

• Use of technology in teaching
• Ability to differentiate instruction

Certifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
