Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Food Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and to promote best practices across our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of food safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead food safety training sessions and workshops.
• Evaluate and enhance current food safety protocols.
• Conduct microbiological testing and analysis.
• Coordinate with health organizations to align with public safety guidelines.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation to regulatory bodies.
• Provide guidance and support to staff on best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a food safety role

Technical Skills

• ISO 22000 Standards
• Food Quality Control

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Leadership

Certifications

• Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Auditing: Previous experience in food safety auditing preferred.
• Proficiency in Data Analysis Tools: Ability to analyse data trends related to food safety.
