Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Kettle Fry Cook Operator to join our vibrant kitchen team. You will be responsible for operating kettle frying equipment and ensuring the highest standards of cooking. An eye for detail and a passion for culinary excellence are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee frying operations, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare ingredients for frying and manage the cooking process.
  • Maintain an orderly and hygienic workspace.
  • Keep up-to-date with kitchen trends to innovate menu items.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service.
  • Order and maintain stock levels for frying ingredients.
  • Train new staff on proper kettle frying techniques.
  • Evaluate and improve cooking techniques to enhance food quality.
  • Manage food presentation and ensure portion control.
  • Report any issues with equipment to the technical team.

Requirements

Education
  • Culinary Arts Degree or Diploma
  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Kettle Fry Cook or similar role
