We are seeking a passionate and experienced Gourmet Chef to lead our kitchen in Harlow. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with the ability to create unique and exquisite dishes that showcase seasonal ingredients. Your creativity and leadership skills will drive our kitchen team to deliver outstanding culinary experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Create menus that highlight the best of local and seasonal produce.
  • Prepare, cook, and plate dishes to a high standard.
  • Lead kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Train and develop team members through hands-on guidance.
  • Uphold safety standards and manage kitchen cleanliness.
  • Monitor food costs and manage budget effectively.
  • Engage in creative brainstorming sessions for new dishes.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork.

Requirements

Education
  • Culinary Arts degree from a recognised institution
  • Specialisation in Pastry or Fermentation is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years as a head chef or similar role
