Job Description

As a Gourmet Coffee Attendant, you'll be responsible for providing exemplary customer service while preparing high-quality gourmet coffee beverages in a busy café. Your enthusiasm for coffee will enhance each customer's experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare gourmet coffee beverages and pastries in accordance with recipes and quality standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring each guest has a positive café experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all food preparation and coffee-making areas.
  • Utilise espresso machines and coffee grinders effectively to create beverages.
  • Assist customers in understanding different coffee types and brewing methods.
  • Process payments accurately with cash registers and manage cash handling duties.
  • Support team members during peak times to enhance the efficiency of café operations.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding food safety and hygiene.
  • Contribute to creating a friendly and welcoming café atmosphere.
  • Engage with customers and share knowledge about coffee options and promotions.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma
  • Barista training or certification is advantageous
