Veterinary Surgeon

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in St. Albans. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animals, providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess the health and medical history of animals.
• Administer vaccinations and preventive care.
• Establish treatment plans and monitor patient recovery.
• Communicate effectively with animal owners and provide education on care.
• Participate in emergency care and critical situations.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and medications.
• Conduct routine check-ups and health screenings.
• Cultivate a warm and welcoming environment for clients and their pets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• RCVS registration is required

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in veterinary practice
