Job Description

As an Engine Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of outdoor power equipment and small engines in an industrial setting. You will conduct repairs, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in diverse engine types.
  • Assist in the training of junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Perform quality control checks on repairs completed.
  • Document repairs and maintenance performed for future reference.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and materials required for repairs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Membership in a relevant professional organization is beneficial
Experience
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience in engine maintenance
