Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Road Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Road Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various road construction equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in road construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy machinery to complete roadworks efficiently.
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and report any defects.
  • Assist in reading and interpreting project blueprints.
  • Implement safety protocols throughout the operation.
  • Work collaboratively with other operators and project staff.
  • Ensure precise grading and excavation processes.
  • Foster a safe and productive working environment.
  • Participate in safety training and compliance measures.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Support project planning sessions by providing insights from the field.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid Heavy Equipment Operator License/Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Prior experience in large-scale road construction projects.
