Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Building Dismantler to join our team in Manchester. This role involves safely dismantling buildings while ensuring adherence to strict safety regulations and environmental practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating buildings for structural integrity prior to dismantling.
• Implementing dismantling techniques that prioritize safety and efficiency.
• Regularly inspecting equipment and performing preventive maintenance.
• Implementing effective waste management practices on-site.
• Training junior team members on safety protocols and equipment operation.
• Coordinating with safety officers to ensure compliance with site regulations.
• Preparing for and participating in safety audits and inspections.
• Documenting project progress and reporting significant issues to management.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ Level 2 in Demolition or equivalent

Experience

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.

Certifications

• Demolition Supervisor Qualification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
